Well this weekend I have socialised so I was only able to watch first 6 episodes of Borgen that I have recorded and I liked it very very much. There is something about these Danish dramas that is new and shiny and after Forbrydelsen, Borgen is a nice change. This is a political drama where a middle ground (leaning towards left) party suprisingly wins the election and has to form a coalition and it is all political intrigue and suprisingly romantic. The Prime Minister's Spin Doctor is in love with a political reporter, PM has a great marriage and a wonderful husband but her work interferes with their sex life and so on. This one is not dark as Forbrydelsen and I welcome the lighter tone.
Celebrity Sweetheart turned out to be a bad purchase and I can't even muster the energy to finish it right now. Especially since my goodies arrived today. Two Japanese dramas and I'm very eager to check out one right away.
After some deliberation on what to read, I have decided on Tender is the Night by S.Fitzgerald and he is marvellous. Simply marvellous.
