Well it was another Doc Martin usual. I like it despite its many flaws and had a good time with Season 5.
The Unconsoled is nearing its end and I feel so detached from the characters that the beauty of the prose is almost lost in me. Almost but not quite since I actually didn't realise we arrived at work because I was so engrossed in the book. Mr.Ishiguro just writes so beautifully. I just wish it was not so dream like which kind of disabled me to get interested in any of the characters but the situations they are in, especially the emotional detachment (which is a feeling so well told in other Ishiguro novels) do hit home.
