Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... is an Indian modern day fairy tale. And I love it to bits. Last night was I think my fourth viewing and 5 tissues were sacrificed only in the last half hour. This one is one of those rare beasts that has a great cast with no weak points, melodrama to the max working because of the performances and deft direction (Karan Johar is not that bad I suppose) and even scenes that should have been cringeworthy somehow makes me laugh good naturedly rather than make fun of them. God I missed this one and had a ball last night.
