Slumdog Millionaire made me cry so much when I watched it in in theatre. And I didn't even know just how close some of the depictions in the film to real life are. This second viewing was better for me, and I was crying and crying, despite the fact that now I know the two leads danced terribly in the end credits.
What gets me most is the goodness. Jamal is a very good person and I love that he remains so despite everything that has happened to him. I love characters like that and enjoyed this film very very much in this second viewing.
