Gladiator is a film I like a lot. I like Ridley Scott's visual sensibilities and his storytelling. And this film is a testament to both. The story is not complicated and the technology is well served to the grandiose scenes in the story. Russel Crowe (not someone I particularly care for but not dislike either) excells in the role. The rest of the cast are good too but Crowe carries the film. And it is an entertaining film that makes me cry everytime I watch it. Recommended.
