Darkdawn

Darkdawn ended up being a third novel of a trilogy that has everything but not truly in a good way. I think it would have been better if this was a quartet. Still liked it and the reading performance is very good.

Terrace House: Aloha State  it is not secret that Hawaii is my favorite place on earth (Kauai to be specific) but this Terrace House was bad in comparison to the first one I have watched. The participants were seedy and belligerent and the beautiful views and locales did not make up for it.

A Faint Cold Fear

A Faint Cold Fear oh Karin Slaughter I can't thank you enough. I loved this novel as much as I did her others. She is consistently good. 

Laundromat

Laundromat a good director is good to the viewer since even when you don't like the film very much, you get to enjoy it on some level and everyone in the cast were all excellent. 

Jo Pil Ho: The Dawning Rage

Jo Pil Ho: The Dawning Rage I liked this film much better than I thought I would. I even cried a bit. South Korean films are really to my taste. 

Badla

Badla turned out to be a loyal remake of Contratiempo with the gender reversal. I liked the other remake Evaru much better than this one.

Kill Bill Vol.1 and Kill Bill Vol.2  well once again I had a great time watching these films and this time I did it back to back (hence the double entry) .

It's Okay, That's Love

It's Okay, That's Love is one of those Korean dramas that start of as romantic comedy and change into melodrama towards the end. I loved it. Also this is a drama in which the male lead has a mental disease and not a cute one like OCD. He is schizophrenic. Lucky for him he falls in love and is loved in return by a psychiatrist. I loved this drama very much with messages of independence, love and mental health being important. I love that the main couple talked about everything right away so there are no misunderstandings and the conflicts occurred not due to evil people but bad circumstances. Also Jo In Sung was surprisingly good at playing a mental patient. 

Black Powder War

Black Powder War is very exciting but halfway through I dropped it for some reason and did not return to it for some time and after I picked up again it went smoothly despite my not being really into war as a genre (well after War and Peace I kind of have an inkling about Napoleon wars)

Ninth House

Ninth House is very good and I'm happy with it and looking forward to the second novel now. 

In The Tall Grass

Evaru

Evaru ok I almost did not watch it after seeing "adapted from Contratiempo" since I didn't really like that one as much as everyone else seems to but I wanted to see what they had done with it and I'm glad I did because it was good. Even though I knew what was coming I was interested during the whole thing. 

Signal

Signal was on my radar and I was very happy when it showed up on Netflix. And  it was very good making me cry and laugh and generally eager for each episode. I'm not sure about that ending though.

Avengers: Infnity War

Avengers: Infinity War yep, I watched it again. I like it better than the Endgame.

Pet turned out to be not as bad as I thought it would be. It's not that good mind you, but still I'm glad I watched it. 

The Final Master

The Final Master is not that good a film unless you like martial arts. I enjoyed it, and the romance between the titular character and his wife was an unexpected viewing bonus. 

The Rock

The Rock well this is one of those lucky films, it is not a good film but very entertaining with all its actors in tune and all the ridiculousness is engaging. It surprisingly aged well.

El Dorado

El Dorado well this one is a happy go lucky film which relies heavily on the charisma and likability of its actors, luckily they all deliver. 

Green Book

Green Book is one of those films that made me cry but at the same time I got upset that I'm crying. Viggo Mortensen though, man the guy can act. 

The First Purge

The First Purge turned out to be not bad at all. I liked the action and the sentiments. 

Halloween (2018)

Halloween (2018) turned out to be very entertaining. Looking at the photo here you may think these ladies are scared but they both are badass women.

Their Lost Daughters

Their Lost Daughters was an uneven reading experience for me. I didn't really like it but didn't want to leave it either. I don't think I'll continue the series.

Aquaman

Aquaman is entertaining, I like James Wan's directing. Straight and to the point. He is no auteur but he is certainly capable. 

Destroyer

Destroyer is not a good film but I liked it very much, probably because it's getting close to my period. 

Call Me By Your Name

Call Me By Your Name well it did not start very good for me. All read was the musings of a teen whose hormones are overdrive about his crush. Page after page. I almost DNFed it but stuck to it since the prose was actually good. And I liked the second half much better. 

Fight For My Way

Fight For My Way is the type of close friends living as neighbours and generally having fun being laid back and I like it very much. I loved the actors and yes, it is not a well written drama and not top tier maybe but it is heartwarming and entertaining.
