The Widows of Malabar Hill

The Widows of Malabar Hill turned out to be very entertaining and despite not liking the over dramatic (imho) reading overall I enjoyed this as much as the Rei Shimura series. 

Possesed

Possesed started very good, and I loved the leading man who is maybe not handsome but has a great heart (I love the good guys) the premise is similar to that old Denzel Washington film, Fallen, and it is an interesting one however it got tired especially towards the end. Although some scenes were really touching, it became tired and undeserving of the good performance of the male lead.

Power of The Sword

Power of The Sword is a lot more entertaining than I had expected. In fact, I had a ball reading it and will check out more novels from this author (I have only read two other novels written by him)

Free Food For Millionaires

Free Food For Millionaries turned out to be wonderful, a novel to my own heart and I liked it to the last drop. 

Into The Fire

Into The Fire was good and I love Mr. Laymon (RIP) and his depravities. 

The Distant Hours

The Distant Hours is an expected delight. I love English literature and apparently like historical fiction and the reader Ms. Caroline Lee was excellent so I had a ball with this one. 

Dark Matter

Dark Matter turned out to be not for me. Not for me at all. It is a good enough read but didn't work for me. 

Stormdancer

Stormdancer is good but I like Nevernight better. Still I want to read rest of the series but without the urgency that some other novels inspire. 

Prayers For Rain

Prayers For Rain made me remember how much I love reading Dennis Lehane novels. It is a fine novel of detective mystery and I highly recommend. 

Throne of Jade (Temeraire 2)

Throne of Jade is not as good as the first one but still very very fine and I had a ball with it. 

Murder Mystery

Murder Mystery is yet another generic Adam Sandler film and you know I love Adam Sandler but it is on par with The Cobbler as far as the bad goes. Not recommended. 

Venom

Venom turned out to be two parter in flight film I had started returning from Japan (? not really sure and I love the fact that I'm not really sure) and finished the remaining on the return flight from Northern Cypruss. It didn't leave an impression except liking Tom Hardy. 

Just Go With It

Just Go With It again, yet again. What can I say? I have a fondness for Adam Sandler and Hawaii. 

Closer

Closer is a fave film and it aged well indeed. It is especially delightful for a close up lover like myself.

How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother while this show is not in the same caliber as the greats, it is very entertaining and I had a great time watching every episode. 

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Seasons I & II)

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel did not interest me but I was hooked right at the first episode and sort of inhaled the two seasons. Looking forward for more. 

Chopsticks

Chopsticks is not an impactful film but I like all the actors and the little story. It is one of those films that are not very good but I ended up liking. 

The Avengers

The Avengers turned out to be as good as I remember it being. Especially the scene above is one of my favorites.

The Fate of The Furious

The Fate of The Furious well this franchise has been long settled into a comfortable formula and this film is no different. It was entertaining but not substantial in any way.

Always Be My Maybe is a nice romcom. Nothing special except the leads are Asians and Keanu Reeves has a hillarious small part. Recommended only to the fans of the genre

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
