Pain And Glory well I like Almodovar films (I think I have seen them all) and this is a rather good one made by a good film maker at his maturity. It felt and probably is a very personal film with a top notch Antonio Banderas performance. I loved it 

Animals

Animals an impulse buy at the Auckland airport turned out to be a very good one. I liked the prose, the story and the main character's arc throughout. I'll seek more novels from this author. 

Parasite

Parasite yep I watched it a second time on the plane from Sydney to Singapore and loved it yet again. 

It Chapter Two

It Chapter Two was not very good, sadly. There was only one scary scene and the rest was a bore. 

The Gift

The Gift turned out to be meh, a bit lower than that even. It fell flat for me. 

Bite

Bite to me was the weakest Laymon novel I have read so far. The weird thing is that I marked this one as "read" on goodreads and I have no recollection of reading it before.
