The Casual Vacancy

The Casual Vacancy made me regret not having read it earlier (preferably when it came out) since I loved it. It is strange to love Harry Potter novels but staying away anything else from the same author. Thank God I had the good sense to read the first Cormoran Strike novel (again Rowling writing as Robert Gailbraith) - actually I got it in audible- The Cuckoo's Calling and I liked it so much so that I have finished the rest of the novels and suffering from withdrawal, I have finally given this a try. It is a great novel and I actually cried in the end. Definitely a keeper and I wish she'd write more of these.
