La La Land divided many of the critics and film lovers in my twitter time line. It never occurred me that I'd be in the loving camp. I don't like musicals, I don't like instrumental jazz and I don't like Emma Stone (sadly I blame Aloha for it) and think that Ryan Gosling is an off/on actor. The film evoked feelings in me. I actually cried at the end. Despite the fact that Emma Stone can't dance and really was not that suited to the role in my opinion (yes I know she got an Oscar), I felt for the film. It isn't something I'll be eager to watch again but that viewing was really good.
