Destined to Feel

Destined to Feel is one of the worst novels I have read in my whole life.

Sacred Games - S 2

Sacred Games Season 2 is better than Season 1 and of course the book is much much better but I think all in all it is a decent adaptation. Saif Ali Khan is a good actor and the rest of the cast is too. I really like the actor who played guruji (above photo) he was also very good in Mirzapur (a better show imho)

The Lowland

The Lowland which was in impulse buy at Inchon airport turned out to be a good read.

The Matrix

The Matrix  amazing, this film still works.

Defendant

Defendant started out with a bang but lacked the same energy in the middle and ended very tidly. I kind of liked it mainly because the actors were all very good, the protagonist is an all around good guy and the villain is so so evil. There is hardly any romance and there are lots of plot holes but it entertained me more than it didn't.

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee is a show I only started to watch because I like Ricky Gervais and then I was hooked. I remembered how much I liked Seinfeld and Jerry Seinfeld sure aged well (both physically and sa regards to sense of humour)

Three Colours: White

Three Colours: White is my least fave in the trilogy (my fave is Blue), in fact I don't like this film at all. This is my second viewing in a decade and I still have the same reaction to it.

The Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King

The Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King ok after this viewing, I have finally embraced my Hobbithood (despite always wanting to be an Elf) and I have finally realised that I'm more of a Sam than Frodo (despite Frodo being my favorite main character in the novels and the films). Many tears were shed again and I liked the films even better.

In A House Of Lies

In A House of Lies in my opinion is the weakest Rebus novel. And no matter how much I try to like them, neither Siobhan nor Malcolm are up to Rebus level of engaging. It is still good, but not as good.

Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers

Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers well not much else remained to be said about this film. But Faramir in the novel turned out to be one of my favorite characters (a good guy is such a turn on as far as I'm concerned) however I was so dissapointed by his representation on the film.

Game Over

Game Over far exceeded my expectations. It was amazing and very very entertaining if you are horror fan. Highly recommended.

On a superficial level I love how Taapsee Pannu uses her natural curly hair all the time. No blow dry for this lovely and talented actress (curly hair representation is not that much)

Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring

Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring still feels good no matter how many times I watch it.

Arjun Reddy

Arjun Reddy I have watched it in about three/four instalments and I was not ready for the reaction I gave at the end (happy tears). It is not a very good film about a very troubled person. I have finished it though and that is something.

Inglourious Basterds

Inglourious Basterds is much better at this second viewing. I actually wanted to clap Aldo's speech especially in the light of current global political climate. Nazis are bad.

Sojourn

Sojourn is the last novel of the Dark Elf trilogy and I think it is best, but not completely necessary if you read them in order. It may sound weird but I actually got good advice from this novel and I liked it better than the first two.

An American Marriage

An American Marriage is a good novel. I kind of liked it but it was not a read for which I wanted to drop all else.

Thor: Ragnarok

Thor: Ragnarok was even better the second time. If you enjoy the director's sense of humour this film will sure cheer you up.

Kisscut

Kisscut was not what I expected. Actually I knew going in that it would be a violent journey lead by good people trying to prevent bad people from committing evil acts. But I thought the events would be different (since I know what will happen to our heroine from another Slaughter novel, a crossover that I unkowingly read) but it was not this one and the subject is difficult. I like this writer very much though and I hope to read the next one in this serie.

The Poppy War

The Poppy War is very good. I actually dropped everything to read it and was very much into it. The prose is not satisfying in that certain literary way but the story telling is very good and all in all I'll recommend.

Christine

Christine is still good, even better, after all these years. And I especially recommend this audiobook because Mr. Holter Graham's performance is simply wonderful, perfect.

The Earthquake Bird

The Earthquake Bird I really liked this one. It is moody, full of suspense and mood and well written.

Punch-Drunk Love

Punch-Drunk Love  I didn't do this film justice in the first viewing and that fault is duly corrected in this second viewing. I love PTA, I love Adam Sandler and I love Philip Seymour Hoffman.

My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho

My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho fared great in this second viewing. It helps that I really like the lead actor and actress, Lee Seung Gi and Shin Mina respectively. As usual for Korean dramas of that age it starts happy and fluffy and turns melo in the last few episodes.

Patience

Patience, while not as good as Passion is in the same vein with the most explicit adult content I have seen so far in a novel of this kind. Despite having some gender equality issues, I think it has its heart in the right place. It proved a good palate cleanser.

Cloud Atlas

Cloud Atlas well this one is a mixed bag for me. It is a good novel, no question about it. However I could not connect with it and it had that certain trait where it pulls you in its world but it is not a world I wanted to be pulled in to. I appreciated it more than I liked it.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part II

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part II what is there to say? I love this book, I love this film and I'm so happy that my house is Gryffindor (in Pottermore that is) And Neville is such a great character. And the scene in the photo is such a good scene.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part I

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part I is probably the rarest films which it was justified to make in two parts. Cried and loved it yet again.

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince is not a happy film. And it suited my mood (my period just started) perfectly. In fact I did nothing but watching the last three films all day, crying.

Grey Sister

Grey Sister is just as good as the first novel and I'm looking forward to the third novel in these series. I love the reader in this one too. Not overly dramatic and has just the right tone. Highly recommended.

Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece and one of my all time favorites.

Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels

Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels is still my favorite Guy Ritchie film. It still holds up even after all these years.

Chief Of Staff

Chief Of Staff was very interesting and well acted, and I liked that it didn't go on and on. Only 10 episodes.

Red Sea Diving Resort

Red Sea Diving Resort tells the story of Israeli agents rescue operation to take Ethiopthian Jews to safety. The film has a good message but it is not very good cinematically. Actors all did very good but the script and direction were mediocre (and I'm being kind here since I like the story)
