Odd Thomas

Odd Thomas turned out to not as good as I expected (despite the fact that the only Dean Koonts novel I really liked is The Watchers) and it is a decent story, well told but there is a certain plastic quality to its characters that they never feel organic to me and I never get emotionally invested.
