Season of Storms
Season of Storms turned out to be much better than The Last Wish and I think I'm entering The Witcher groove.

Midnight Diner
Midnight Diner what a ride. I love these series and all three seasons were very good. Not every story ends with a traditional happy ending (in fact most of them depict hard conditions) but all of them are worth watching and Master is adorable.

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom
Ma Rainey's Black Bottom is not a bad film but it was not to my taste. Chadwick Boseman's performance is top notch though. (in fact all cast did a good job)

Behind Her Eyes
Photo from imdb
Behind Her Eyes is one of the rare beasts, a good adaptation. I enjoyed it despite having read the novel.

That's My Boy
That's My Boy bad Adam Sandler films have a way of cheering me up, and this one did the job. I like the guy :)
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga ok I was feeling down and this film totally cheered me up. Not a big Will Ferrell fan but I love Rachel McAdams and she was so good in this. It is a good natured film with songs that suited to my taste.
Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula
Train To Busan Presents: Peninsula is nowhere as good as Train to Busan. I liked some of the action scenes but zombies really are not my thing and this one was not as special as Shaun of the Dead or Train to Busan.

Chapelle's Show
Chapelle's Show to me, perfection. I don't laugh easily but Mr. Chapelle may be my all time favorite comedian.
The Undoing
The Undoing is easy viewing. I like the acting, especially Hugh Grant. I knew the twist but I enjoyed it none the less. There is something wrong with Nicole Kidman's lips though.

Edenbrooke
Edenbrooke started badly for me. I did not care for the female lead and everything felt manufactured and fake. However I enjoyed the second half of the novel.
The Last Widow
The Last Widow wow, Karin Slaughter never disappoints. This one is fantastic. Loved the reader's performance too.
By The Grace of God
By The Grace of God this one took me by surprise. I thought its dry approach would lead to a different kind of viewing experience but I have found myself in tears more than once. Excellent storytelling and it helped that I did not know any of the actors (who were all excellent).
I May Destroy You
I May Destroy You wow, just wow. I sure was not expecting this and I loved it. Original, engaging and powerful.
Sentinelle
Sentinelle turned out to give a great performance by Olga Kuryenko but not much else and there was a totally gratuitous sex scene that hurt the overall tone and took the whole thing down more than a few notches.
The Haunting of Bly Manor
Haunting of Bly Manor well ghost stories are not my first choice but I liked this one very much. The plot, the story and the characters were very interesting and I got emotional at the end. Also this one gave me a jump scare that made me jump. It has been so long since I got scared of a jump scare on screen.
Hubie Halloween
Hubie Halloween well I liked it only because I love Adam Sandler and agree with the message of kindness.

Wild Seed
Wild Seed is very good and I highly recommend the audio book. Not only the performance is excellent but the reader's voice is lovely.
Based on A True Story
Based On A True Story is meh. However I do like the two main leads (especially Eva Green) and I love hearing French. So I enjoyed it more than I would have if these two things were not to my taste.
Emma (2020)
Emma exceeded my expectations. Yes it is a bit explanatory but I loved the cast and especially Mr. Knightley (he is my second fave Austen male character) I do like Johnny Flynn a lot.

Rise of Empires: Ottoman
Rise of Empires: Ottoman ok after the documentary of historical Japanese wars, I started this and liked it just as well.
Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan
Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan well normally documentaries are not my thing but I liked this a lot. Is this a sign of getting old? Enjoying historical battle documentaries??

My Contracted Husband Mr. Oh (aka My Husband Oh Jak-doo)
My Contracted Husband Mr. Oh (aka My Husband Oh Jak-doo) is 8 episodes longer than it should have been but I'm a sucker for the country bumpkin trope and liked it very much.
Willing Victim
Willing Victim turned out to be better in a different way than expected. I liked the story better than the intimate scenes.
